“NAD+ is a molecule found in every cell of your body. It plays a key role in how your cells produce energy and repair damaged DNA. As we age, NAD+ levels naturally decline, which may contribute to many of the changes we associate with getting older.”

Why NAD+

NAD+ declines with age. Supplementing can help replenish it.

Age-depleted NAD+

NAD+ levels drop steeply with age. Direct measurements in human tissue found levels of 8.5 units at birth, 2.7 units in young adults, and just 1.1 units in people over 71 — an 87% decline over a lifetime.

This decline matters because NAD+ fuels the enzymes that repair your DNA and protect your cells from damage — so as NAD+ falls, your cells become less able to maintain and repair themselves.

In a study of over 1,500 people, men over 60 had roughly 2 μmol/L lower NAD+ levels than men under 30. Women showed no significant decline with age, suggesting the NAD+ gap is more pronounced in men.

NAD+ MECHANISM OF ACTION

Powers cells. Activates repair.

NAD+ is a coenzyme that cells use to turn nutrients into energy. It fuels two enzyme families — sirtuins and PARPs — that regulate DNA repair, inflammation, and aging processes.

Step 1

Supports cellular health

NAD+ fuels cellular energy and supports antioxidant defense. Subcutaneous delivery can replenish NAD+ levels and support healthy cellular function as those levels decline with age.

Step 2

Fuels energy production

NAD+ converts nutrients into ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate), the energy source that powers every living cell.

Step 3

Activates repair pathways

Sirtuins and PARPs (enzyme families that depend on NAD+) help repair damaged DNA, regulate inflammation, and influence the processes linked to cellular aging.
