“Glutathione is the body's master intracellular antioxidant and a central substrate for phase II detoxification. Intranasal delivery is one of the few routes shown by imaging to measurably elevate brain glutathione levels, and subcutaneous administration offers a practical alternative to IV for systemic support.”

Why Glutathione

Oxidative stress damages cells. Glutathione can help neutralize it.

In a trial of 100 heart attack patients, IV glutathione significantly reduced inflammation, free radical activity, and direct markers of heart muscle damage versus placebo.

Patients with lower inflammation after the procedure had better heart function at 6 months — stronger pumping ability and less enlargement of the heart.

An earlier study of 50 patients found glutathione blocked production of hydrogen peroxide, one of the most damaging molecules released when blood flow returns to the heart, with the protective effect lasting at least 5 days.

GLUTATHIONE MECHANISM OF ACTION

Defends cells against damage.

Glutathione is the most abundant antioxidant in the brain. It neutralizes free radicals to help prevent oxidative damage. Glutathione levels naturally decline with age.

Step 1

Helps neutralize free radicals

Glutathione donates electrons to reactive oxygen molecules, disarming them before they can damage DNA, proteins, and cell membranes.

Step 2

Clears toxins

Glutathione binds to toxins, converting them into more water-soluble compounds the body can excrete.

Step 3

Regulates immune function

Glutathione can contribute to a balanced immune response by helping activate and regulate immune cells.
